Summary of Policies

We ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you kindly notify us at least a 24-hour prior to your scheduled appointment or you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the expected grooming services

Failure to show up to a booked appointment without communication, will result in a no show fee equal to 50% of the grooming services requested for the first offense and the full price of the grooming services for subsequent offenses. Habitual no shows may result in termination of services and all future services will be cancelled.

Please be 5-10 minutes early for your appointment to get property checked in and allow the groomer to START at the appointment time. Appointments arriving 15 minutes late or more will be charged a 25% late fee or may be asked to reschedule with a fee equal to the full price of the groom.

Clients will receive a message letting them know their pet is ready or almost ready. Once a client has been contacted on behalf of their pet for pick-up, Wigglebutt Cuts asks that you are there promptly within an hour of receiving the message or else a $25 charge will be added to your total for daycare fees as we work one-on-one and have limited space.

We preach humanity over vanity, and therefore will not brush out a matted dog under any circumstance. This painful and not safe for the dog. If there is matting, we will have to shave. A de-matting fee of $1/per minute will apply and the dog will be required to stay on a 4-8 week reoccurring schedule in order to continue to receive services.

We do not work on animals with known fleas. We will send dogs home with fleas and charge 100% of services requested. If you suspect your pet has any ticks, please inform us. Excessive removal of ticks will result in a removal fee.

We do not accept new senior dogs 13 or over. We do not work on pregnant dogs or dogs with recent surgeries until surgical site is healed with clearance from your veterinarian. Grooming can cause stress that can exaggerate or expose new problems, or even lead to a serious medical event or death. There are mental and behavioral changes in senior dogs or dogs with medical conditions, and they are groomed for comfort only and not appearance. Special handling fees may apply for senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions.

We only accept minor fear-based aggression and do not take overly aggressive pets as we are one-on-one, home-based, and can only muzzle for minor things such as nails. In the event that your dog is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, we may refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at anytime before, during or after grooming and client will be charge for services provided.
